• Women are honest, loyal, and forgiving. They are smart, knowing that knowledge is power. But they still know how to use their softer side to make a point.
  • Women want to be the best for their family, their friends, and themselves.
  •  Women come in all sizes, in all colours and shapes. They live in homes, apartments and cabins. They drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.

On more serious front find a joke:

Journalist had done a story on gender roles in Kuwait several years before the Gulf War, and she noted then that women customarily walked about 10 feet behind their husbands.

She returned to Kuwait recently and observed that the men now
walked several yards behind their wives. She approached one of the
women for an explanation. “This is marvelous,” said the journalist.
“What enabled the women to achieve this reversal of roles? Replied the
Kuwaiti woman: “Land mines!”

Stepping on Landmines! Yes that what we tend to feel when a girl child is born. Ans I am not condoning female infanticide. To me its a murder. But we do have to realise why the girl child is feared even in educated families? I have been motivated to write this after reading a piece on http://jeewanjoshi.wordpress.comWII2

Take a real life incident I came across recently. This incident was narrated to me succintly by my driver. It so happened that  a girl comes to Meerut to study. She falls in love with a local boy who resided next to her hostel. And they marry. Court marriage, circumventing the law.  They lived in Hotel for one week. And then she leaves to her place with the boy in the taxi (my drivers’) to tell her parents. The girl is from rich background, she even paid taxi charges, and gace gold jewellery to her new husband. Story over. I can only imagine what her parents, her father will do. Kill her or kill himself. He must be ruing the day she was born. And mind it! this is not the isolated case. Remember Girls In Bar row? Have somebody contacted the  parents of the girls in the bar what they felt of their ‘Bar-gained’ daughter. They surely must be yelling – God..why the girl child born to us….

The moment a girl is born the parents start investing for her marriage. As they know as the age goes chances are that this child can create heart-breaking nuisances. Those who let their daughters to be more and more educated are stepping on landmine, literally. If it blows the all will be lost.

It is also not that all women are nwanted. But the women naturally are on weaker ground. Not just physically, but mentally too. They take simple things in complicated manner and sets off a chaos. We have several female politicians who always put their feet in the mouth. one just lost recent elections the other won and is now a Cabinet Minister.

Women are their own enemy. You may realise that most of the crimes committed against women are instigated by women. Saas-bahu, jilted lover ettc.etc. Surely some women are victims but they are from economically backward classes where exploitation is a curse. This is conemned by all educated. But the crimes against educated ones is somewhat to be blamed on the lady too. Delhi CM is criticised as she questioned the need of women moving alone in night. But we all know we do not want out daughter, wife or sister moving out alone in the night. To save the house from burglary it has to be locked. Can’t blame police only if something untowards happened.

Some Laws have been made to protect womenhood. But its misuse has not been controlled. Laws on dowry, sexual harassment are often misused for naroow selfish motives to pin a rival, in most cases the poor husband. Mainly these so called ladies, feminists and alleged victims are from moddle(middle and open) class. The more aware the women the more chance that she will grab her pound of flesh by hook or by crook…
The issue in unconventional and surely controversial. But I do love women. But fear a girl child…That my take….

After female bashing—-its time for Jai Mata ki…..

will be visiting Vaishno Deviji shrine and shall be back after few days. Till then happy blogging….
